Academy Funerals is very fortunate to have Wayne Lyons managing the company.Wayne joined the firm in 2008 after 34 years of experience in the industry. For the past two decades Wayne has managed funeral homes and during that time has been president of the FDANZ. Wayne has been actively involved with FDANZ, as well as Rotary and the Linwood Rugby Football Club
Pre-arranged Funerals.
Our Bereavement Plan provides inflation-proof pre-payment of services, giving you peace of mind and ensuring that your family is not burdened with unexpected expenses. Prearrangement only is another viable option. Any information you give us remains strictly confidential.
Counselling and Support.
We understand the stress involved in bereavement, and the difficulty you may have incoming to terms with your loss. We are able to put you in touch with trained counsellors who will help you deal with the grief and personal difficulties which may arise.
Our Chapel...
A beautiful, peaceful chapel, opening through a private courtyard and surrounded by magnificent prize-winning gardens, provides the perfect setting for a serene, meaningful service. We welcome all denominations and non-religious services. Plenty of off-street parking is available.
Our Reception Room...
Our delightful reception lounge, with its tasteful surroundings and views of the gardens, can be used for refreshments before and after the service. Catering staff are available to provide morning and afternoon tea either here, in your home or at a venue of your choice.
Our Family Room...
We also have a cosy family room, suitable for those needing time alone before the service.
