We are locally owned and operated. We care for the individual needs of each family.
Our complex is in a central city location, with easy access to the cemetery and cremation.
We provide for the traditional or modern funeral.
Established in 1967 by Robert (Bob) Cotton and now operated by his son Trevor and wife Ruth.
The office and chapel have been located at 697 Main Street, Palmerston North since 1984. In 1991 a lounge was built on the same property, facing Broadway Avenue. This allows easy access from both entrances.
Our Chapel
Where religious and non religious funerals are held is fully carpeted and air conditioned. 302 people are able to be seated with easy access for wheelchairs and those with a disability. We have a modern public address and sound system, with a loop system for the hearing impaired. We are able to play selected music and our extensive recording facilities allow audio and/or video recording of the funeral services. We are also able to do power point presentations.
A professional organist is available to play our electronic organ, or you may prefer to arrange for one privately.
Interview and Viewing Rooms
Adjacent to the chapel allows family and friends to pay their last respects to a loved one in privacy.
Reception Lounge
Light refreshments are available in our lounge after the funeral service.
We are able to cater and serve refreshments or alternatively families can provide the refreshments themselves.
Casket Selection
Our funeral directors carry a photograph album with a range of caskets available. Alternatively you may wish to choose a casket from the range displayed in our casket selection room.
Casket Flowers
From a professional florist of your choice, can be arranged.
Hymn Sheet - Tribute Cards
We can provide sheets with the order of service and attendance, and memorial books.

We provide a funeral to suit your needs and your financial circumstances. Please feel free to discuss your concerns with us.
Financial Advice
Assistance is available for families requiring help with funeral costs, we can help you with advice on applications for funeral grants from Work and Income New Zealand and the Accident Compensation Corporation.
Advice is also available on the closing of bank accounts.
Pre Arranged and Pre Paid Funerals.
To save family members the burden of funeral arrangements a Pre-arrangement service is available. All details are recorded in the strictest confidence. No obligation enquiries are welcome and advice is given at any time.
As a member of the F.D.A.N.Z a prepayment plan is available and is arranged through Sovereign Life.

Ashes Memorials
Families have the option of burial of ashes in Ashes plots at cemeteries, with a suitable memorial, or in an existing family grave.
We can arrange for the ashes to be scattered, forwarded to another centre, or sent overseas.
Memorials
We are able to provide a suitable memorial at all cemeteries.
Quotations are also available for restoration work required on existing memorials.
